How It Works
You deposit a minimum of $100
Turtleford Credit Union matches it with $100 more
Your money is held safe, earns interest, and pays out in full at the end of Grade 12 (June 30)
Eligibility
To participate, you must:
Be enrolled in Grade 11 or 12 at one of the following: Turtleford Community School, Turtleford Transition School, or Piyesiw Awasis School
Be (or become) a member of Turtleford Credit Union
Not already have an existing Cha-Ching100 match
No requirement to graduate. The term matures based on your school year, not diploma status.
Term & Interest
Non-redeemable term deposit: your funds are locked in to earn more
Matures June 30 of your Grade 12 year
Interest rate: based on our posted 1-year or 2-year rate (rounded to the nearest match for your term length)
Example: If you open in September of your Grade 11 year, your term is 22 months, so we apply the 2-year rate
What Happens if You Withdraw Early?
If you close your account before your term ends:
You forfeit the $100 contribution from Turtleford Credit Union
You will receive your original deposit, subject to Turtleford Credit Union policy
Deadline
This offer is available until:
November 30, 2026, OR
Program capacity is reached (whichever comes first)
